Quality Counts at Neu-Isenburg

Chesapeake Neu-Isenburg has invested in a sophisticated image inspection system to underpin its carton manufacturing processes. This is part of a global investment program that has resulted in the installation of image verification systems across Chesapeake’s pharmaceutical division in China, US and throughout Europe.

Neu-Isenburg will benefit from the latest offline verification system developed by Vision Experts GmbH and Mabeg Systems GmbH, the Vision Expert 4000 Carton. This advanced system provides a 100% quality check once the carton has been printed and die-cut and ensures any potential defects are reliably detected and automatically rejected.

Josef Nunne, managing director at Chesapeake Neu-Isenburg, said: ‘The system provides the ability to quality check all printed materials, and any imperfections in print or die-cutting that do not agree to predefined tolerances will be rejected. This investment reinforces our firm commitment to delivering the highest quality products to our customers. The system, supported by earlier investment at the site, will help to grow and further develop our business. As a result, we are already receiving enquiries from prospective customers who recognize the value of a system providing a reliable quality guarantee.’
