VPF develops new paper range with PCR content
With 40 percent PCR content, the new uncoated 90g paper is environmentally friendly.
VPF, a self-adhesive materials company, has developed a new textured paper range in collaboration with paper manufacturer Gmund.
The new 90g paper, uncoated and with a 40 percent post-consumer recycled (PCR) content, is a material that is both environmentally friendly and offers a high-quality feel. The material is available unembossed or can be finished with one of 37 embossings. These are available for orders of 2,000sqm or more. With the standard 'white wood' embossing, the paper is available from VPF for orders of 1,000sqm or more.
The new uncoated paper is versatile and can be individually coated. It can be combined with wash-off adhesives such as Alkali Wash-off 605 or permanent adhesives (e.g., 951 permanent for wine bottles), making it suitable for demanding applications such as wines, spirits, premium cosmetic products and high-quality brand presentations.
'With this range, we are setting new standards for sustainable and, at the same time, design-led paper solutions in the premium segment, which are unique in this form and stand out from the multitude of textured papers on the market,' said VPF.
