Hanson joins the German-based company from a similar role with Dutch B2C photographic printer Albumprinter. He comes to Flyeralarm with the aim of putting the brand front of mind with UK customers for a huge range of products including flyers, brochures, leaflets, magazines and business stationery. He will be backed up by the resources of a rapidly growing group of companies, with a low-price model and wide product range, which currently processes more than 22,500 orders a day right across Europe from the West coast of Ireland to Eastern Poland and from the Straits of Gibraltar to the Arctic Circle.

Hanson started his career with Honda, rising to the position of sales and marketing director of the UK’s number one selling motorcycle brand with a 25 percent market share. He held a similar position at the UK subsidiary of CeWe Color, a leading European photo product production, distribution and online services business. Hanson has joined Flyeralarm after more than six years with Albumprinter, where he was responsible for turning the company’s UK e-commerce brand portfolio, Albelli & Bonusprint, into a multi-million GBP success. While there, he was also in charge of strategic projects including pan-European partnerships, geo-expansion strategy, integration of acquired businesses, merging brands and developing go-to-market strategy for software.

Flyeralarm is based in the Bavarian city of Würzburg and is one of Europe’s leading online printing brands. It also offers printed labels and packaging, including rolls of labels suitable for application on bottles using labeling machines, and rolls of stickers. It also offers vegan stickers on a roll, which are produced using 100 percent plant and mineral components. Its packaging products include cartons for bottles and multipacks, and gift and presentation boxes.

‘Keith comes to us with a wealth of experience in the printing industry and was the ideal candidate to guide the UK arm of our company through the exciting times which lie ahead,’ commented Thorsten Fischer, Flyeralarm CEO.

Hanson added: ‘This is a hugely exciting opportunity to introduce UK trade printers and businesses to the successful Flyeralarm brand with its customer first ethos. We have a host of exciting plans that start in 2017 including the promotion of our three million products, very competitive prices, much needed services like next day delivery and special reseller discounts via our trade program.’
