Polar opens renovated training center

Polar has opened its renovated training center, which can accommodate up to 24 trainees.

Polar offers traineeships in both commercial and industrial professions, including industrial management assistant, industrial mechanic and mechatronics engineer

Polar offers traineeships in both commercial and industrial professions, including industrial management assistant, industrial mechanic and mechatronics engineer. The 3.5-year traineeships feature a combination of practical work and theoretical training at vocational schools. Industrial trainees have their own workshop, where two instructors focus on the professional qualification of the trainees.

The company stated that the previous building in which training was run was ‘no longer in keeping with current standards’, leading to it investing in a new training center. The existing facilities were modified to comply with the traineeship standards and to suit the needs of the trainees. This included investment in additional equipment, with rooms renovated and refurbished.

Stefan Jösch, one of the two instructors, commented: ‘The trainees and we as their instructors are very pleased with the new, modern training center. We can already say that this investment was definitely worth it. Training is now even more enjoyable for everyone.’
