A recently reawakened Dscoop HP user group was given a new lease of life at two recent re-launch meetings in Melbourne and Sydney, writes Henry Mendelson.

HP revives moribund Australian Dscoop group

Headed up by a new committee which aims to reactivate what has recently become a somewhat inconspicuous industry group, the two Dscoop breakfast meetings, under the heading of “Unlock the Future”’ heard internationally recognised futurist, Craig Rispin unveil some of the trends of tomorrow. Dscoop’s Asia Pacific Region’s offshoot counts Keith Ferrel, Co-Founder, Cactus Imaging, Australia and David Minnett, a Director of Tangent Snowball Australia and one of the area’s early digital printing proponents on its Board.

As a sweetener to the October breakfasts, Managing Director of HP’s Australasian distributor The Curry Group, David Curry, offered HP Indigo users at the meetings the opportunity to win an entry to the 2015 USA Dscoop meeting at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Centre in National Harbor, Maryland.
