Komori and Highcon enter strategic business partnership in Japan

Komori and Highcon have formed a strategic partnership that will see Komori selling and supporting Highcon Euclid digital cutting and creasing products in the Japanese market.

Komori said the partnership is a key step in its strategy to provide a comprehensive offering to its customers, covering both analog and digital workflows, and spanning printing and finishing alike. 

Komori said by offering the Impremia IS29 UV inkjet digital printing machine and the Highcon Euclid digital cutting and creasing system customers will be able to grow their business by adding value.

‘We believe that concluding the agreement with Highcon is an important step in Komori’s business target of being a print engineering service provider,’ said Eiji Kajita, operation officer and global sales and service group general manager at Komori

The combination of Highcon’s innovative system and Komori’s products will provide a new business model which has not been possible to implement until now.’

The first Highcon Euclid in Japan has been installed at Komori’s Graphic Technology Center in Tsukuba.
