DuPont Cyrel to showcase ReNew plate at Loupe Americas

Visitors to booth 327 will be able to see the ReNew plate range, which uses a photopolymer containing more than 50 percent certified bio-circular raw materials derived from renewable sources. Traceability is provided through an ISCC Plus-certified mass balance approach.

The plate technology recently received a Sustainability Award at FTA Forum Infoflex 2026 and is a finalist in the Sustainability category at the 2026 Labels and Labeling Global Awards.

PJ Fronczkiewicz, North America technical marketing and service leader at DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions, said: ‘Across the labels and packaging value chain, sustainability expectations continue to increase, and printers are looking for solutions that deliver measurable environmental benefits without disrupting production.

‘Cyrel ReNew was developed to meet that challenge, providing a practical path towards a significant reduction in reliance on virgin resources while maintaining the performance our customers depend on every day.’

DuPont will also highlight its wider flexographic platemaking portfolio, including the Cyrel Fast thermal processing system and its compatibility with Esko’s CDI Quartz plate imaging technology.

Cyrel Easy ESXR, Cyrel Easy EPR2 and Cyrel Fast Easy EFXR plates have been certified for use with the Esko Quartz workflow. According to DuPont, Cyrel Fast Easy EFXR is the first thermally processed plate to receive the certification.

‘This allows converters and trade shops to combine the precision and repeatability of Quartz imaging with the operational and environmental benefits of thermal platemaking,’ Fronczkiewicz said.

The solvent-free Cyrel Fast system uses heat to process plates and is designed to reduce processing times and eliminate solvent handling. GreenCircle recently certified that the workflow consumes 20 percent less energy than conventional solvent-based processing.

DuPont also plans to expand the ReNew platform into thermally processed plates, extending the availability of lower-carbon products within its flexographic portfolio.
