Gard Chemicals launches new adhesive cleaners
Gard Chemicals, a specialist manufacturer of adhesive cleaners and release agents for both hot and cold glues to the food, drink, packaging and associated industries, has developed a technologically advanced range of industry approved chemicals to prevent unwanted adhesion and make cleaning easier.
The initial range of formulations covers a variety of applications such as external adhesive removers for in-situ cleaning, liquid hot melt purges for pre-melt units and hoses, and release agents for preventing hot and cold adhesives from adhering to surfaces to make cleaning easier and quicker.
The new formulations are all biodegradable, environmentally friendly and operator safe, and were developed by the research and development team at Gard Chemicals after investigating traditional cleaning applications and chemical formulations available within the market, such as flammable cleaners, solvents, citrus based cleaners and paraffin wax granules.
The full range is also manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditations.
The range is now supplied to bottling halls, packaging and food manufacturers in order that they can now remove and prevent adhesives from adhering to any surface in a safer more environmentally friendly method than before.
