UEI Group appoints technical business development manager

Universal Engraving and Infinity Foils have appointed Brent Singer as technical business development manager for both companies, bringing over 40 years of packaging and converting industry experience to the role with worldwide territory responsibility.

Singer will provide technical expertise and business development support to customers globally. His areas of specialty include engraved foil stamping and embossing dies, cylinders, foil stamping flexible dies, in-line embossing dies and systems, lock-up systems and hot, cold and digital foil and makeready supplies.

'Brent's extensive background in technical sales and operations management will be invaluable as we continue to expand our global reach,' said the company in a statement.

Singer previously served as general manager of a leading die-cutting die manufacturing operation in New Zealand, where he built a business from the ground up and achieved ISO 4801 OHS certification. He received multiple International Diemakers & Diecutters Association (IADD) safety awards. He served as an elected board member of the organization from 2015-2018, contributing to the Technical & Educational Committee and serving as vice president of the 'Big 6' State chapter.

In the US, Singer has provided technical services and consulting to major integrated and independent packaging companies, specializing in technology training, rotary and flatbed die optimization and manufacturing efficiency improvements. He has also delivered technical support across Asia Pacific markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, India, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
