Optiflex expands flexographic capacity

Russian label converter Optiflex has strengthened its flexographic production capabilities by investing in a second Weigang flexographic press, reinforcing a partnership built on production performance and long-term confidence in the technology.

The new press was showcased at RosUpack 2026 and, following the exhibition, delivered directly to Optiflex's production facility, marking the next stage in the company's ongoing investment in advanced label manufacturing.

The latest order follows the successful operation of Optiflex's first Weigang flexographic press, which has been producing a wide range of high-quality pressure-sensitive labels for the Russian market. 

Founded in 2006 and based in Russia, Optiflex specializes in self-adhesive labels and packaging printing for industries including food, beverages, household chemicals, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. The company emphasizes continuous investment in modern production technologies, quality management and product innovation to support the evolving needs of brand owners.

The newly purchased Weigang press has been configured for high-productivity flexographic label production with integrated converting and finishing capabilities, enabling greater manufacturing flexibility while maintaining consistent print quality across a broad range of applications.

According to Weigang's Russian distributor Terem, the repeat investment reflects the importance of equipment reliability, responsive local support and long-term customer partnerships in an increasingly competitive label market.
