Vinfoil appoints Matik as distributor in North America

Vinfoil’s cold foiling systems include Micro, Infigo, Optima and VIFOP Software. In addition to equipment sales, Matik will provide service and parts.

Matik, based in Connecticut and with several regional offices, is the exclusive distributor in North America for many other brands, including Codimag, Edale, Gietz, Goebel IMS, Melzer and SEI. Matik provides full sales and technical service support to its nationwide customer base. Matik’s staff have been trained by Vinfoil´s factory technicians to offer installation, inspection, diagnosis, repair and aftercare.

Paweł Kusinski, global sales director at Vinfoil, said: ‘By expanding our global sales and service network we will be able to offer our product line to customers in the US, Canada and Mexico.’

Matik president Steve Leibin added: ‘The Vinfoil systems and software complement Matik’s portfolio of advanced converting, printing, slitting and packaging equipment perfectly. This enables us to offer customers a broad choice of technologies.’
