Based in Lenexa, Kansas, Rival Branding is a digital-only printing company, established in 2016 to support startup brands with high-quality labels at low cost and low minimum orders. Rival produces custom labels and other printed products for clients, including craft breweries, CBD and cannabis companies, candle manufacturers, as well as bath and body product manufacturers.

The compact DC330Nano is a cost-effective technology for lamination, die-cutting and slitting. The machine is ideal for converting labels printed on lower volume digital presses or as a backup to an existing finishing line. It can be configured to run either in-line or off-line.

Rival Branding made the decision to buy the DC330Nano after an online demonstration impressed with its ease of use and versatility. During the pandemic, the company has been producing clean seal stickers for use in hotels, properties and resorts, so faster time to market has been the company’s priority.

‘The DC330Nano is just awesome and it is such an easy machine to use. Jobs that previously took us two days to convert on our old plotter die cutter can now be finished in just 20 minutes or less,’ said Trent Marquardt, owner of Rival Branding.

‘We are very happy to be partnering with Rival Branding as it strives to serve its customers with faster delivery and higher quality labels,’ commented Uffe Nielsen, CEO of GM. ‘The Nano is a popular ultra-compact unit and it is the perfect machine for them. In these challenging times, having equipment that you can rely on is absolutely vital.’
