Lebanese converter installs Mark Andy 2200XL press

Modern Printing Co., a commercial offset printer in Lebanon, has entered the narrow web flexo market with the purchase of a Mark Andy 2200XL press.  

Richard Nasraoui, owner and operator of the press, chose the Mark Andy 2200XL due to its ease of use, which results in low operator intervention and minimal adjustments. A complete station can be set up in less than one minute. No inking adjustments are required; change repeat size is made without modification. The press reportedly allows a 50 percent decrease in waste thanks to its automatic registration system.  

Key to the purchase, according to Nasraoui, was the technical assistance available in Lebanon through Dynagraph. Based in Dubai, the company provides equipment and service throughout the region.
