Label Lab invests in GM finishing equipment at Labelexpo Europe

Jordan-based converter acquires laser die-cutter and digital varnish technology.

Label Lab has committed to a comprehensive finishing setup from GM at Labelexpo Europe 2025, marking one of the most substantial investments of its kind in the Middle East region.

The Jordan-based converter, owned by Ahmad Alramahi, has purchased an LC350 laser die-cutter, DVM digital varnish module and CC120 core cutter to target the luxury label market across the Middle East. The deal positions Label Lab as one of the first companies in Jordan able to offer advanced label finishing with digital varnish technology.

The investment provides Label Lab with the flexibility, speed, and premium quality capabilities demanded by the competitive label market, according to GM. The equipment package was finalized during the exhibition following meetings between the companies at the show.

'Relations matter,' said Maher Dakkouri, CEO of Sixth Dimensions and GM distributor. 'Meeting the GM team at Labelexpo was key, the show creates the space where trust and technology come together.'

The deal represents GM's continued expansion in supporting converters worldwide, with Labelexpo Europe serving as a platform for industry partnerships and equipment investments. Label Lab's investment targets the fast-growing luxury label market in the region.

Dakkouri noted that the digital varnish capability positions Label Lab to lead the region's developing premium label segment, with the company becoming an early adopter of advanced finishing technology in the Jordanian market.
