Comexi Group has named Jeroen van der Meer as its new managing director.

He has over 15 years of experience in flexible packaging and machine engineering, having previously served as managing director for the engineered films nosiness unit at Clondalkin Group and as managing director at Clondalkin-Flexoplast. He has also held various positions of responsibility at Fuji Seal Europe and Philips PMF International.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the company’s worldwide growth, which complies with the corporate strategic plan of the group by providing high added value products that meet the high standards and demands of the flexible packaging industry.

Van der Meer will oversee both engineering and sales, as well as product development, marketing and industrial construction for Comexi Group and its subsidiaries worldwide.

Manel Xifra, Comexi Group president, said the appointment of van der Meer will allow the company to continue the process of professionalization of its executive team.
