Matik names vice president of business development

Matik, a US-based distributor for European manufacturers of printing, packaging and converting machinery, has named Steven Leibin (pictured) as its new vice president of business development.

Matik’s brands offer cutting edge technologies that provide our customers the efficiencies they need to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace. Steve’s technical knowledge and reputation for customer service will further strengthen Matik’s ability to meet the needs of our customers,’ noted Wolfgang Ripper, president of Matik.

Leibin had recently worked as folding carton sales manager for Gallus in Philadelphia, and had worked for Matik previously as sales manager for Omet. Leibin will be responsible for increasing the sales of Matik’s brands in the label and security market segments as well as expansion into the digital market.

Leibin will directly manage Matik’s web printing (flexo and offset) and finishing product lines: Omet presses, Codimag presses, Grafotronic inspection slitter rewinders and ESS finishing systems.
