APR automates NextGen workflows

All Printing Resources has helped NextGen Label Group automate its inspection and quality control workflows by integrating AVT AutoSet with Esko Automation Engine, eliminating redundant data entry and reducing operator error while enhancing productivity.

APR's team worked closely with AVT, Esko and NextGen's internal staff to design and execute a connected system from prepress to pressroom that allows inspection data to be transferred directly from pre-press workflows into the AVT system on press.

'When we started exploring automation opportunities, APR was the first call we made,' commented Nick Noyes, chief operating officer at NextGen Label Group. The integration has delivered a smoother workflow, higher operator engagement with AVT systems and reduced setup time. NextGen now operates six AVT systems across its facilities.
