AVT offers free unlimited operator training

All customers gain access to 25-plus self-paced inspection system tutorials at no cost.

AVT has announced free, unlimited access to its full library of self-paced operator tutorials for all customers, covering its 100 percent inspection systems for packaging and labels, in-line color measurement, workflow and optional modules, with no additional cost per operator or per seat.

The library comprises more than 25 tutorials available in English, Spanish, Italian, French and German, each including knowledge checks, a final exam and automatic certification on completion. AVT said take-up since launch has been immediate, with a significant share of its customer base already registering for access.

The announcement follows AVT's structural price reduction for spare parts in late 2025 and reflects what the company describes as a shift in its role from technology vendor to long-term partner. The training offer is designed to address the recurring challenge of knowledge loss on production floors as operators move on, new hires join, and shifts rotate, reducing system performance not because the technology has changed but because operator familiarity has declined.

'We invest enormous effort in building systems that deliver exceptional value,' said Roy Porat, CEO of AVT. 'But that value is only realized when the people operating those systems truly know what they're capable of. Making sure of that is not a nice-to-have. It is our responsibility.'

'Our job does not end when the system is installed,' added Tamar Friedman, COO of AVT. 'Every operator who masters their AVT system and every team that grows more independent result in print runs that perform better.'
